Best Psychedelic Music Picks: May and June 2026
Shwamp - Your inventory is full

I must admit, I'm a little bit surprised. At first, I thought it's supposed to be "a collection of singles that I couldn't fit in anywhere" kind of release - and you can see the inspirations are all over dubstep, techno, dub, IDM - but it fits together so well that maybe it's not? Or is it? I don't know! Either way, Shwamp prepared a HUGE album - 18 tracks total! And great as always. Love his music!
Mindex - Born From Ritual

album
Born From RitualMindex's Born From Ritual shows his take on psybreaks. He infuses breakbeat percussion with subtle glitches, acid lines, dubstep influences, and more. Really good one!

Ekorce - Chiaroscuro

album
ChiaroscuroOne that I missed last month, Ekorce's Chiaroscuro delves into the theme of light vs darkness and how they coexist in the psychedelic soundscapes.
Dub Puffin - Dune

album
DuneAnother captivating release from Mystic Sound Records! Something little that every dub connoisseur will enjoy. Dubby groovers, swirling basslines, glitchy ear candy, oh my!
Snilk - Mind Travel Time Control

An excellent experimental bass EP from Snilk, I love the weirdness that he delivers.
Psydell - Something of No One Pt. II

Psydell released a second part of "Something For No One", in which he seems to explore much more relaxing vibe than he usually does. But if you're looking for something more glitchy, bassy and weird, he's still got it - do not miss "Meandering Pattern"!
Zoungla - The Dreamixes

album
The DreamixesZoungla releases a compilation of 4 remixes of his last album Dream Machine, two of these are from Maoa and Kaya Project. He also included a bonus track.
Diethyl - Strange Land
Something for dub lovers - Diethyl released a nine-track album full of dub. It's more on the classic dub side of the spectrum rather than psydub, but it's not like classical dub is noticeably less psychedelic. Lovely release!
Gabriel Le Mar - Road Movies

album
Road MoviesIf you're into ambient guitar jams, this is something right for you. These electro-acoustic dubbed out soundscapes will make you float away.
Dextro - Planets and Stars

album
Planets and StarsYou may wonder, what is techno doing on this list? Well I have developed a taste for raw, hypnotic and dub techno - and hardgroove can have all of that! It is my go-to when I want something more plain than music that I typically listen to, but not too slow and still interesting and continuously evolving so I don't get bored of it too soon. Dextro's new album rather closer to hypnotic techno - check it out if you're into this kind of sound.
More New Psybient and Chillwave Releases
There are a few more new melodic ambient, psybient and chillwave releases, I didn't include them in main list because it would get too long, but here's a couple more super relaxing albums from Cosmicleaf Records that you might still want to check if it fits your vibe:
Eguana - Rainbow Emotions 2
Interstellar Messenger - A Sombre Serenity
Gregory Paul Mineeff - As We Watch Them Cross The Sky
